Now Hiring: Dental Assistant – Part-Time

Location: Zephyrhills, FL

Part-Time | Onsite

Compensation: $18.00–$23.00 per hour

Make a Difference for Patients When They Need Care Most Just Pull It Dental is seeking an experienced dental professional to join our clinical team in Zephyrhills. Our practice focuses on extractions and urgent dental care, helping patients receive prompt treatment and relief in an efficient, patient-centered environment. This is a great opportunity for a Certified Dental Assistant who enjoys hands-on clinical work and wants to build experience supporting extraction and oral surgery procedures. You’ll work closely with our providers and clinical team while playing an important part in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit.

Your Impact in This Role

Every day, you’ll help prepare patients and providers for treatment while ensuring our clinical areas remain safe, organized, and ready to deliver care.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Providing chairside assistance during simple and surgical tooth extractions
• Preparing operatories, instruments, equipment, and supplies before each procedure
• Preparing patients for treatment and supporting providers throughout clinical procedures
• Taking and processing digital dental X-rays
• Explaining post-treatment and recovery instructions to patients
• Maintaining complete and accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Processing, sterilizing, and organizing instruments according to established infection control procedures
• Following OSHA requirements and applicable clinical safety standards
• Keeping treatment rooms stocked, clean, and ready for patient care
• Assisting with supply organization and inventory needs
• Helping the team maintain an efficient patient flow during busy clinic hours
• Supporting other clinical responsibilities as needed

Schedule & Availability  

• Part-time opportunity
• Evening availability is required
• Saturday availability is preferred
• Hours may vary based on patient volume and clinic needs

Requirements:

  What You Need to Succeed  

Required: 

• Active Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential
• At least 1 year of hands-on, paid work experience as a Dental Assistant in a professional dental or clinical setting
• Externship, internship, school-based clinical training, or unpaid practicum experience alone does not satisfy the minimum experience requirement
• Ability to work confidently in a busy, fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized while managing multiple responsibilities
• Professional communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering compassionate and respectful patient care

Preferred: 

• Previous experience assisting with extractions, oral surgery, or surgical dental procedures
• Experience taking and processing digital dental radiographs
• Spanish-speaking or bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
