ABEM or AOBEM Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians for an
ongoing locum tenens assignment covering two regional hospital sites in
Rhode Island .
This dual-site opportunity offers cross-credentialing at both emergency departments within the same health system, providing schedule flexibility, strong specialty backup, and state-of-the-art emergency medicine facilities designed for efficient, patient-centered care.
Assignment Overview - Location: Rhode Island (cross-credentialed between two facilities)
- Contract Type: Locum Tenens
- Start Date: January 2026
- Duration: Long-term (6+ months, ongoing)
- Credentialing: Temporary privileges available for clean files
- Schedule: Full-time or part-time availability | Day, swing, and night shifts available
- Shift Options:
- 7a–3p | 2p–11p | 3p–11p | 9p–7a | 11p–7a
- Flexible 10–12 hour shifts available for locums

Candidate Requirements - Board Certification: ABEM or AOBEM (required)
- Licensure: Active and unrestricted Rhode Island medical license
- Certifications: ACLS required
- Additional Requirements:
- Completion of 8-hour stroke CME
- Two-part PPD test
- Experience: Minimum 2 years post-residency emergency medicine experience
